the ministry of coaching enables
individuals to become Christ-like by teaching and modeling, leadership,
positive reinforcement and praise, good sportsmanship, self control, teamwork,
concern for the well being of others, maximizing God-given potential,
and dedication to a common goal. Coaches direct two practices and one
game a week. Teams have at least two coaches. Each game begins with a
prayer by the home team. Coaches are required to attend a training session.
Rudimentary ability in the sport is required.
Baseball Coach season is from March - May
Basketball Coach season is from December - March
Soccer Coach season is from August - November
Volleyball Coach season is from March - May
help provide administrative
and logistics support to the various children's team sports. Opportunities
are available to help with tasks such as sorting team uniforms, sorting
equipment, roster verification, scheduling pictures, arranging refreshments,
etc.

are needed to meet with boys ages 11-18 on a weekly basis at Chapelwood
to work on scouting skills. Program also offers monthly campouts and summer
camps.

for this religious award offered to Boy Scout, Cub Scout and Girl Scout
participants. These small groups meet with the children and their parents
once a week. Curriculum is provided and focuses on living a Christian
life. Time commitment ranges from 6 weeks (elementary awards) to 15 weeks
(high school awards.)
